Offer validation

Validate your consulting offer before building more.

A polished website cannot rescue an offer that has no clear buyer signal. Before investing in branding, automation, or a larger launch, isolate the assumption that matters most and test it.

Start with a decision

“Will this work?” is too broad. A useful question connects one audience, one promise, and one behavior:

Will operations consultants at small manufacturers request a diagnostic after reading a promise focused on reducing scheduling delays?

Change one variable

Keep the offer, channel, and call to action stable. Change only the element you need to learn about, such as the audience or the lead promise. If everything changes at once, the result cannot teach you what caused it.

A 14-day validation brief
  1. Name the buyer and costly problem.
  2. Write one concrete promise without a guarantee.
  3. Choose one observable action.
  4. Set the minimum evidence required to continue.
  5. Run the test long enough to collect a qualified signal.

Measure commercial evidence

Compliments and broad engagement can help, but buyer behavior is stronger evidence. Track qualified replies, checkout starts, purchases, objections, and the time required to maintain the channel.

Decide before sunk cost takes over

Define the continue, revise, and stop rules before the result arrives. That makes the experiment a decision system instead of a justification exercise.
